Ozette Wolves

Wolves were creatures of natural and supernatural power featured in art and ritual of the Indigenous peoples of the Northwest Coast. By the beginning of the 20th century, wolves were extinct on the Olympic Peninsula but their echos could be heard at Ozette if one listened carefully.
