Lightning serpents

In Northwest Coast traditions, Thunderbird hunted and caught whales by hurling lightning serpents at them. They are distinguished by sinuous bodies and horns on their heads. Often shown as lesser companions of Thunderbird, I designed a pair by themselves doing whatever lightning serpents do when Thunderbird is not around.
These serpents are superimposed on two geometric fields: a set of concentric circles and rays radiating from the center of the whorl.
